Nice original Luftwaffe sword, a pity they ruined an army sword scabbard to put it in, but the sword is nice!
Im not a bayo collector but for what its worth, it looks good!

yep, high quality solingen steel plated with chrome if you have a late one.
the early heavy ones could also be made of nickel/silver.
But let the SS experts do the talking about your chain.

No matter about any of the issues with the Luft scabbard, you got all three for a fraction of the value of the SS dagger!
