How much its value in this condicion?
In my view, this is not worth investing any money in due to the severe damage to the piece.

The sword although is authentic.. has been greatly depreciated losing the center piece of its identity....the inset eagle and wreath. The lower fitting may have been added at a later date. Compared to what they are originally worth see and compare below

IMO this would fall into the $200. So sad to see History removed like this..which is a great problem with most of what we see with SS Regalia. The grip wire has already been altered of its shape..and no replacement will straighten the original wire. I highly encourage reading through the SS dagger and sword forum here for comparison and education. Regards Larry
