Hi thought I would post pics of the first dagger I brought. And to hear everyone's thoughts. Always wanted a ss dagger it was what got me started. And to see one for sale in New Zealand is very rare. Hopefully I haven't made a mistake!

A nicely conditioned and also all correct SS dagger by Robert Klaas from what I can see in the smaller photos
I do have a question...is there anyway you could post larger images?
It would be a great study tool for the community here.
Great dagger

Hi Larry thanks again for your comments. Yes will repost soon as I figure out what I have done wrong. Really appreciate your input. AL
They show you all its faults. No hiding things with photos like that. Will be interested in anything else anyone sees. I know there is faults. I am happy to have one and hope to get a better one one day. Thanks
Very nice pictures of a very nice dagger! You have the same kind of thin layer of even "blacker" dye on the handle as I have on my Hammesfahr, which I have come to see on quite a few of the early mm daggers. By the way, is the scabbard with plated or nickel-silver fittings, the look awfully shiny to me?
I do like the dagger a lot!
Cheers!
Martin
