Is it possible for you to post more photos?
I think it is OK, but more pics would be nice.

looks good to me.
The scabbard might be a later addition, with some more photos I think helpful in providing a better overall opinion of the dagger. FP
Original. Very nice condition grip wood and decent hardware. An ugly scabbard, though.

Normally I see anodized scabbards on the 120/34s and painted and Anodized on the 121/34s. Not sure by the photos if this is an early period scabbard. dagger looks ok. Larry

Painted scabbards on 120/34's are OK, I have one.

While paint versus black oxide (bluing) is one variable to be taken into consideration - one that should not be seen IMO is an admixture of nickel silver parts like the hilt fittings. And (possibly later) nickel plated steel scabbard mounts - which should normally have the same aged appearance. That does not seem to be the case here (IMO) with a brighter upper scabbard fitting compared to the cross guard next to it. But with the limited number of relatively low resolution images posted and none of how the dagger fits the scabbard - who knows (?). FP
