I believe this is a reproduction. A real eickhorn ss dagger will never be marked m7/66. The ss dagger marked 941 would be eickhorn code, followed by the last two digits of the year.
As for m7/66, using it as an example, you would find this code on SA daggers, HJ daggers, etc, not ss daggers.
Hi,
As I know and from collector the markings is OK. Below is list of ss markings. The list is not all but regarding Eickhorn yes. It is mean the maker mark is good.
1. M7/66 SS 1938 + Eickhorn Squirrel holding sword
2. 941/36/SS + Large Eickhorn Mark serrated tail
3. 941/36/SS + Large Eickhorn Mark smooth tail
4. 941/37SS + Eickhorn Squirrel holding sword - "Original"
5. 941/38 SS + Eickhorn Squirrel holding sword - "Original"
6. 941/39 SS + Rat squirrel
7. 1163/38 SS + FuA Helbig mark
8. 15/38 SS & JA Henckels Mark in double oval
9. 15/39 SS & JA Henckels Mark NOT in double oval
10. 1164/38 SS + David Malsch
Mike
I dont like the handle, and the blade has been seriously messed with. sorry, but this seems to have other issues too. appears to be some kind of parts dagger project.
Yes, the handle I do not like.
I have a SS Dagger myself, though I am not very good with them... yet
I would definitely agree with the others, that these dagger looked like porr Frankenstein.
It also looks like it was cleaned and re-painted.
RZM code is for SA dagger.

I think its ok,just never had tlc.
This code is correct as Eickhorn did use this 1938 variant,, the list Mike1 has listed below is correct to date. The grip is not original as the clearance hole at the bottom of the grip has been worked to fit the blade tang. This is a sure sign of a fake grip. The grip insignia looks to be good. The blade looks like it was retipped,,but hard to tell as I need to see the blade at its overall length.
Why is the tang painted silver? This dagger has been messed with and IMO, not a good investment. Runes button and eagle were added later. The upper crossguard screams "Rape",,as it is horribly obvious it has been opened quite often and then some! ( no pun intended ) The swirl marks on the top of the guard shows this. Parts dagger and one to stay away from if someone has a high price tag on it. Sorry for the rough assessment but This is not original parts for a mid period SS dagger. Regards Larry
