Ok, I am curious to hear from members who have handled many of these over the years. The blade and condition seems fine marked C. Bertram & Sohn. The reverse of crossguard appears to be unmarked. I appreciate your time and opinions!

Isn't that a faint "II" marking on the lower guard reverse in photo # 2? In any case, I am not thrilled about the grip to guard fit-particularly the upper guard in the second Photo. Earlier type blade....later type sheath? I would be inclined to believe that this is a post-war assembled piece. It would not be for my collection.

    William,
I suspected that this was a put together one. I did notice the the gaps as well. Thank you for your analysis.

I'm quit sure this one has a laser etched makerlogo, read fake.
I had one myself couple of months ago which I had sent back to the seller.

I would walk away from this fake, and fast....
Nothing in this put together dagger is atracting me.
iMO Kris is correct, it has a laseretched logo.

Alot of these are coincidentally popping up lately and leaving a trail of the most obvious of issues. The Logo is laser etched from what I can see through the photo applied haze. Parts as mentioned above. Regards Larry

    I agree with the guys.
Good example of a ss dagger that not belonged in any collection.
