I think it looks o.k. To me, the chain and scabbard appear to be of the 'Type 2' variety, with the 'pear shaped' Wotan's knot and blued scabbard. Here's a thread from not long back when Ade lays out the necessary details concisely, and puts to bed some misapprehensions too.

The lack of any makers mark on the blade and hanger is a bit worrying to me, but at the same time the blade appears to have genuine wear, and I like the definition on the skulls and runes on the chain, so I'm on a bit of a limb here really!
To be honest, I'd wait 'til our man in Bovington vacates his trench and get's back Monday for the best opinion.
