Hello.. no not an early piece.
Hence the aluminum eagle, scabbard fittings etc..
This is a transitional dagger, hence both rzm and maker mark.
Thanks!
But a original ?
its up for 1000 Euro.
1000 Euro for a fake ?
Michael.

Not a fake ... maybe a mismatched dagger.
Looks like the Blade has suffered, and there is plating loss on the fittings.
1000 Euros .... !! That’s about 1/2 what you’d pay for a reasonable one without any major issues.
This dagger is a fake!

Would be nice to know yours reasons why it’s a Fake Gerd ... We all started as beginners and absorbing other people’s knowledge is priceless in this hobby.
Not necessarily a fake but surely a dog.
Hi, in my opinion on originality, it would be appropriate to take a detailed photo of dagger in daylight and one pad. I'm afraid of these photos, whether the merchant wants to make money or can not take pictures. get better photos, get better answers.
The TM is a laser supported engraving and it also doesn't match the period ones.
Please compare this TM with one from period, you'll see the difference,
note the Z of RZM and the 3! The motto is also too far down.
These blades are very common here in Europe.
