SS Ground Rohm

Will here are some pictures of the SS dagger my friend sent me -
Maker:Herder with the Rohm dedication professionally ground out leaving most of the makers mark . In addition the cross guard is marked with the SS distribution centre mark "I" also and most important is that the SS mans number 161334 is also marked on the crossguard - would appreciate any help in relating the number to the owners name.

Thanks Ade - forgot to mention that on the scabbard most of the shiny coating is gone but the oxide coating is still all there.

Had to bring this back to the top - After many months of research the original owner of this SS Rohm was uncovered, thanks to Ross for all his help was finally able to put a face and history to this fine dagger.

Original owner was Obersturmfuhrer Karl Bohmer - have all his SS history,units etc - nice
