another fake SS relic?

Hi!
Just came upon this poor relic M40 on an auction site. Looks to be an ET or Quist M40 with some possible reissue paint and maybe traces of white camo. What I don't like is the decal actually. It looks like a painted shield on the cleaned, bare metal. Pics are not really good but my impression there is "decal" in rust dots too?! The runic shield looks wierd, runic graphic is odd to me. What do you think?

I don't like it... The decal looks nearly more circular then shield-like! There may be a story behind it, but I personally wouldn't get involved...

What's the currect bid or asking price out of interest?

I think it's on 200 $ now. Maybe it was cleaned heavily with some wire wool or sand paper but not a one looker unfortunetly.

I'm not a big fan of junk helmets, but the only way I would have that one is as a gift!
