Re: Another SS DD round bottom?
You should post the pictures to the forum not just the link, otherwise they will disappear in time making this thread useless.
99% of anything of this nature posted on maarkplatts is garbage from what I have seen.

Jerry
Whatever
its just an opinion.

Re: Another SS DD round bottom?
The round bottom fake is the most common fake decal there is in my humble opinion and very easy to spot once you know what to look for. It resembles and tries to copy the ET decal graphics but fails on many points. It looks like you tried to attach pics which failed to upload. Can you repost?

Re: Another SS DD round bottom?
Yes that's the one and a brutal party decal. Easy and remedial fake which should not fool anyone by today's standard.

Re: Another SS DD round bottom?
A nice Quist helmet that was ruined with fake decals. What a shame.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
