Indeed, the colours are wrong. But it's not just the decals !
The whole thing is JUNK ! (It's a Chinese copy 'Aged'.)

...Same guy with the 'SS' uniform ?

I shouldn't say 'junk', as these do make nice display helmets for some folk.

You can purchase an "offshore" helmet off the net or E-bay for around
$80 to $100 brand new, then use modeling 'aging techniques' to make
it look real and authentic as an old battle-weary helmet should.

This particular one looks to have been done rather quickly, without much
care or talent involved ! ..... I mean, if you are going to spend the time
and effort, you might as well put some thought into it !
There are super replica SS decals with metallic flake for about $12
a piece which could make one look really amazing.

Some of the work on German helmets being done nowadays is astounding
and very convincing. They are hard to tell from 'real'.............

It is an art form in itself !

(Was this the same fellow with the SS uniform ?)

Apart from what's already been said..I just love the stamp on the chinstrap
Talk about poetic license So imaginative 10/10!

In all seriousness Brian. DD M35 in the condition that you have shown, if real, would command somewhere between $15-25K. I have the chance of owning one. It has been in a collection for over 25 years. It has Provenance .Totally. It belonged to an LAH member. He has said that when I can come up with what he wants for it I can have it. He will not sell it to a dealer "Just to make a few quid" as he doesn't need the money. It will wait for me until I can someday afford it! Hell and freezing over comes to mind

They are not cheap mate, and there's no such thing as a free lunch. Just be careful what you buy
