Hello
i am a new on this forum
I want to know if the helmet is decals original?
I have some serious doubts as to the authenticity of this helmet and decals, are there any markings inside the helmet, ie maker, size etc
I think its a Q62, the helmet is probably original but i think it might have been repainted, and the decals added, also the liner looks too clean and could be a repro
In addition, if this was an original croatian SS, it would be worth a small fortune, i think that DougB , Frank and a few others will have something to say about this
Have you bought this or is it still for sale and at what price
It is still for sale, I want to buy,
I hope help me for decision
There were quite a few of these helmets cropped up doing the rounds at fairs and auctions in the early part of the last decade.
Here's one of them that was proven to be fake, and sold at auction for $300 in 2003. The similarity is worryingly the same as the one your looking at. Remember, if it's real, it's worth a small fortune.

Enough similarities with helmet,
I do not know how to make a decision to purchase
Hangfire Baronn, Doug or Jim will give you your answer soon enough I reckon. But from my chair here, it looks bad...
