DAK SS. Any opinions?

Here is a DAK SS helmet. This is the pics i have gotten so far. Opinions are most welcome. I have for several reasons doubts about the netting. The rest i will leave to the more knowledgeable on SS helmets.

That's a new one!!! I would say no on the decal, purely because of the wear marks on the decal, that white mark across the rune looks odd to me

I agree with a no on the decal as well, round bottom and runes look wrong. Made up lid by the looks of it.

Very strange pitting in the decal yet none elsewhere on the helmet, yeuk

Reminds me of those 'Egypt' contract lids that came out of Czechoslovakia after the war.

Don't know about these Andy. One thing i wondered about was what do you need a net on desert helmet for? Maybe they used a net i don't know, but the net is not 70yrs old.
