ID:	425269Hello. Any thoughts on this? Helmet looks ok. Only I would say; liner aged and repro decal. It looks purposely scratched at bottom.
Strap had rzm ss markings though but could be good repro.
    Thanks

decal looks fake, it sits ontop to much almost like a sticker.

Terrible photos and contrived wear to the fake decal , you are correct i'm afraid

Might be the picture quality but the skirt on the helmet is the wrong color green. Maybe painted over.... Just what I can see from the photos

Looks like they dumped motor-oil on the liner and scrubbed the hell out of it...chinstrap appears fake as well, as I don't see the bend in the buckle.
I suspect the only thing genuine here is the shell...just my opinion, Glenn

Thread should be moved to the correct sub forum IMHO.

Just looked and maybe the bottom was rounded and was scrapped off to make it look real

On an odd note, however....I've had and do recall helmets many many years ago that had this strange green color paint (park bench green, we used to call it) on the inside of the skirt. I've always wondered why they painted them like that, but I know for sure that the couple I've owned and handled were absolutely authentic and were bring backs by men that I personally knew.
