It looks like it has potential. I like the decal. I'm leaning towards an ET62 shell. Any shots of the interior? Can you make out the lot number? And how is this helmet connected to a soldier from Das Reich? Interesting lid.

Wow great relic....looks similar to my SS relic, but you have more of a decal!!
Looks good from here.
Now THAT'S got the look!
What a great catch! ....... but if it slips off that wall, it won't be!!

Hello Robbie,
I am glad that you were able to work out a deal on this helmet.
Congratulations,
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
I've been searching for one like that too. I like it and the reviews here are positive! If anyone has something similar, PLEASE PM me!!!!!
Hello all! Sorry for lack of responses about the picture, had to go to bed early, I have an exam today D: and thanks for all the compliments! I'll attach a picture of the interior; and as I understand, this helmet was found with the body of a German soldier, then when the remains were handed into the German government, they gave the helmet back. And on the soldier's ID it said he was from the Das Reich regiment.
Helmet was dug near Kharkov, KIA, id'ed as Das Reich
Its a superb very solid relic, unlike most relics, and will stay that way for a long time if looked after
Sad to see it go, but forced by unforseen circumstances to let it go
Very interesting piece of history. I believe relics are greatly undervalued- we are used to the "on leave" tunics and helmets. This is the real thing.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
