Thanks again everyone! Yes, it's superb as I've been looking for one of these for a very long time (comparatively to the length of time I've been collecting) and to know some of its history is a huge bonus! It'll go well with my relic Police Combat helmet

Helmet's finally been paid for, so it should be here next week or so! I'll post pictures of it in my collection when it arrives

Additionally, in my pursuit to pay for it, I had to sell my Heer helmet - but as the buyer didn't have quite enough to pay for the full amount, he included a couple of WWI German relics. Here are some pictures of the unexpected extra helmets I'm getting as a result of this SS :P

Well, I'd imagine that soon enough you'll be in turn posting my helmet! please do, I'd like to see it in your collection, all settled in. I shall do the same for yours! That camo helmet'll have a high rank in my cabinet!

Also - general advice needed - when the helmet arrives it'll be kept in my cabinet with the rest. Will sunlight cause the decal to fade? It won't really be in direct sunlight, what with being in a cabinet on the opposite side of the room to the window... but is there a risk?
