Your collection is a marvel and there is no finer place for these two helmets to reside. The Buehne helmet is just outstanding. I checked my 1935 Dienstalterliste and he is not listed in it either. I have a 1934 which I will review in the next day or two. It will take some time as it does not have an index. It seems your man either died or left the SS which would explain why a badged helmet of this format survived. A wonderful, rare example and I thank you for sharing both helmets with us.
