    i was going to try and clean it up but ended up giving myself a hefty scar on my thumb i sold it to the owner of that website hitlersnest....I added the link to prove that not every relic that has a decal is a postwar decal

    Quite a few relic lids have decals. The one you showed is in a better condition than normal. Maybe the "Heer" decals are especially resistant. Here is one we found in Bryansk, Russia.
