Seen this for sale. Any chances it is good?
About as much as a snowballs chance in hell.
Looks like a well and truly messed with(fake SS) helmet. Notice how the decals have identical "chips" on them ,like a tool of some kind has been used to make them , there are no other "chips" on the rest of the helmet. Also the scratches across the decals appear artificial and not from general wear. Not one I would pursue! Leon.
Not looking too good not an expert on these the liner looks odd to me, close ups of the decals would help others also

I have to agree. Not one you want in your collection.
Not at $3300 anyway!
Liner is fine helmet is fine original M-18 but as the boys have said someone has faked a nice M-18 WW1 era helmet. Closest comment you will get from me on a SS helmet, but even I can spot those runes as fake priced crazy. timothy
