Even to my untrained eye there is something not right with the liner band it looks too new, there seems to be no age to it.

If you still have contact with the seller i would try to get a refund(even after all this time).Even experienced collectors are fooled every now and then,this helmet is most definatly not original as i have pointed out with the numerous problems it has.

Hi,
I think most things have been said about this helmet, you say you bought it from a collector, but most of us know NOT to buy the story, buy buy the item if you want it.

The liner certainly doesn't belong in there and the decal certainly is not a Quist decal.
