Hi Wayne,
I am not saying your an idiot and again the money part of the equation is irrelevant. From the pics I can't see any remnant of SS decal. Your post title has 39 question marks (I counted them) which means you weren't sure either when you posted it. From what I see, I agree with the 39 question marks you typed because I can't see it either. Perhaps in hand is different. No need to be defensive or confrontational or upset.

I kinda shoot from the hipi hope bratters pics prove my point...i did ask for info and it was moved by a mod into the ss section after i posted it in the steel helmets section because at that time i wasnt sure but after a few washes i belive 100% it is a ss relic helmet...I could'nt make out the runes just the border
