M40 Single Decal like SS?

Looks like somebody went digging for something that was or wasn't
there to begin with.

Nice of them to have gone so far as popping out the liner
for some pics. I'll Never understand that.........

Hello and welcome to the forum , if this were ever an M40 single decal SS it no longer holds any "extra" value in that sense. I suspect that this never had a decal on it and has been messed with to either look for one or make it appear to have once had one! That's a shame and has already been noted NEVER remove an original liner just to take some pictures. All the best ,Leon.

Lot of bloodstaines in the liner. The soldier was, or dead, or had a serious headwound!

Well a 100 euro's is a fair price , if the pins had not been messed with to take out the liner I would say it was worth a fair bit more as a potentially battle damaged helmet, but it is now your call. An original liner will sell for close to the asking price these days so all in all it's not a bad deal. Leon.

Can't say for sure if it has a chance or not, but it's something I wouldn't buy. I don't like the finish on it. The liner is not 100% known to be the original to the shell. A fake decal could have been scraped off giving the notion there was a real one there—just not for me.
