M42 decal opinions

A friend just texted me these photos from a show he's at. If the photos are not of good enough quaility I understand. I know it's rough.

H'mm .....If a fake then it was done some time ago - see how the rust pits below the vent extend ONTO the decal itself - hard to fake that sort of corrosion in less than a couple of decades I would think?

The forum 'oracles' will cast the deciding vote but I think it has half a chance ......

Really poor photograph doesn't help but looks ok, if the helmet is a ckl it has a real good chance.

That's definitely a ckl air vent. I am very optimistic. Get some more photos!

Hi, looks as though this one may be a good ET decal,possibly lacquered,hence the toned decal(some lighter areas can be seen under the light scratches).The wear and pitting look consistant to the decal. As ever sharper pictures would be good,but on the whole I like it so far! Leon.
