M42 sd ss helmet

Hi Guys, I have had this helmet for some years and do not believe the decal or paint to be original. I plan to sell the helmet as a repro and would be obliged if you could give me an opinion on it before I sell it.

Hi Andy, you are correct. Just sell it as an original M42 helmet shell and nothing more.

I see it is sitting on one of my favourite books by Joe Lyndhurst. (Dad of the actor Nickolas) While very general in nature and 20 years old now, I think it gives a very good overview of collecting.
