M42 SS wintercamo

Hi.
What do you think about this helmet? Is the decal, liner etc. original? Do you think i should buy it?

Save your money. It's a modern reproduction + a fake chin strap AND liner. If you ever get to see a real white camo, the finish looks nothing like the one shown. After 65 years it goes brown, not bright white. Besides the decal is a known fake.

Even though I'm in no way an expert I really dont like this one. However this is just my gut feeling from looking at it, but I have been wrong before

This one looks a nice helmet, with the added bonus of maybe a manoeuvre band, or bread bag strap being attached. You never gave a price, but I would imagine somewhere around 175-250 UK£ ? I wouldn't have a problem with that one, liner's a bit dry, no chin strap, so it devalues a bit. But it looks honest enough

He doesnt say it's fake one, but i guess he know that it is fake .

If he didnt say its a repro,then he is trying to deceive,hes no better than someone who steals a wallet full of money.
