old out building for chickens ss helmet find
Although it has set off some concerns here i stand fast on this helmet . you need a glass and the physical presence of this helm to understand the decal and how it melted into this helmet exposed to a good 30 years of german weather. Given me by brittish forces detmote germany 1976

G'day Gary
I think you mixed your link up?

Re: old out building for chickens ss helmet find
Hi Gary, I have removed your email address from public view. Not a good idea to post these, as you will get spammed to death.
I have seen the helmet in question and the pics are nowhere near clear enough to give a valid opinion upon.
Cheers, Ade.

Ade, could you please point us in the right direction? I would like to see what he is talking about exactly.

Re: old out building for chickens ss helmet find
Hi Mo, Gary had the helmet for sale and I expressed concerns about it and so Gary graciously withdrew it from sale. He privatly sent me some pics, but they are far too fuzzy to make a call on.
Cheers, Ade.

Quite correct Ade no opinion can be given on this lid from these photos although the decal looks rounded !!

Why not just take some better photos so an informed decision can be made about this helmet , you had it for sale so must be able to take more photos of it before you decide it is a correct relic SS ?? Even in 1976 fake SS lids were around !!
