Opinions on this M40 ET

Since finding out my SS M42 is a fake, I've had my eye on this one. It looks really good to me, but wanted your opinions. The lot no. is 403, which I could not find on a database, but I found 404 as a confirmed SS lot. Any help would be appreciated!

A little bird told me this was just posted. Looked at it on my phone and as soon as I could I got to my PC.

This is a great looking helmet. One I would love to have on my shelf any day. M40 SS helmets are my Fav SS lid!

I could swear I have seen this before...just not sure where.

I found 404 as a confirmed SS lot.

Lot numbers don't correspond to branches, so 404 can correspond to LW, Heer, SS etc...

I like this helmet though - like Michael, M40 ET SS are my favourite.

Nice and correct SS helmet , make sure you buy it from a trustworthy source and that it is not via a shady ad.

I'm in discussions, with, well, I'm sure some of you understand. I don't know if this is an appropriate question - so apologies in advance if so, but it's USD $5.5k. I feel like that's a great deal, but maybe I'm missing something?

In hand will always reveal an problems, but from what I see here, I think that is a nice price. Nice things cost $$$$

Not a great deal I would say. Dealer market price.
