Is this a legit SS helmet? Maker looks like NS64. 1303 is ink stamped on inner skirt......what does this represent? Thanks any comments.

Don't bother. DD SS M42s are super rare, if they exist at all. Doug can answer that.

We all know they are very rare, but we cant just count on Doug to make the decision. The guy has asked for an opinion, we can make an opinion, hes not stated hes buying it RIGHT NOW ! I think its a pile of crap, the paint dont look right, the decals have been defaced to hide the fact they are crap

Are you OK? I meant Doug can weigh in if any dd M42 SS helmets exists. I agree with you this is junk and to walk away. I thought I made that clear.

Course i am ok ???? They do exist but rare as hens teeth. Whats Doug going to do ? Compare it to his table of crap DD M42 Helms? My point is, we depend on his judgement too much, surely this one is a no brainer, why wait for Doug?
