Please help !! Waffen SS M35 ET 66 DD helmet
Hello gentlemen!
Can you please tell me if this helmet is a genuine waffen ss ??
Seller describes it as a dug ground ET 66 M35.
I think the runic decal is a Pocher type wich is possible on an M35 ET but I'm not an expert…
Could you give me your opinion?
First impressions - i'm not keen on the swastika - i believe i can see pixels suggesting a reproduction decal. It's hard to be sure, a better close-up would confirm. I also believe i can see where another decal was previously applied behind.
The 'Pocher' decal - when i compare to other Pocher decals, the sharp pointed ends to the runes do not look good to me. It also looks scrubbed down.
Is it definitely an M35? - from the first photo the vent looks like an M40.
Happy to be proved wrong! Wait for other opinions of course.

Can you confirm what type of runic decal we have here?
Nick, I concur in regards to the swaz. Can also see what appears to be a serrated edge to it. Again, could just be the crappy photos.
Almost a Luft blue inside and a little on the outside. Perhaps a wartime re-purposed helmet!?

If it is anything, yes Pocher. But I don't like either decal. I'd prefer some better pictures though.
