Hello Phill
The decal appears to have a rounded bottom & when the first photo is enlarged there seem to be scratch/scour marks through
the decal which do not appear natural.
Regards
Brett
Gday Brett, i hadn't really noticed the round bottom, but i had seen the scratch marks but if you look at the air vent area it also looks a bit shiny.. i was thinking someone may have had a go at cleaning it?
Cheers Phill
....Good old Ebay........!
I bet there are a few of us here who pay too much for these things
because we're out-bidding each other all the time.........!

Steve.

Hi, the more I look at it the more I'm convinced all is original and period. Nice one!.
I wouldn't go near this SS helmet. Reich SS do you know that ET SS decals never, ever, ever have a rounded bottom nor break down in this fashion?
