Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
I believe the seller buys from russian diggers who have no international presence and sell them directly. But im not sure
You need to be pretty sure on these dug helmets, whats the use of paying for a relic SS decaled helmet, which will be higher in cost than normal, just to find out its faked and then remove the decal, and end up with just another relic, thats daft logic, you want a lot more provenance than has been given, extreme closeups of the decals. I doubt very much that there will be any markings left inside which gives the ideal opportunity for someone to fake a helmet, especially with an SS decal
That is the reason I started the thread, to prevent such a waste of money. I have a good feeling about it and I havent heard anything negative from other members so I while assume its authentic. I will however wait with my purchase until i have recieved additional photos from the seller who hasnt replied to my emails as of yet.
