Hi Samir, yes Germania is also known to have worn the double runic. Here is a photo from my private collection showing an LAH soldier with a double runic.

I remember when u posted this photo. Its interesting. It tells not everyone had the double runic. Could it possibly be the gunner is LAH and the other a foreign legion?

Regulations were not in effect at the time.

Because the no decal order went into effect for the SS November 1943 and there are SS M42 EF helmets that were decaled beyond this, I have owned 2 matching lot numbers of SS EF helmets with 1944 linerbands, original and matching, and I know of a third, same lot number same linerband maker, all 1944. It was the same for Heer, LW, KM, as well, plenty of single decal examples of M42, thousands actually. Police were DD as well.
