SS ET M40 camo

Posting a real SS helmet here, as there has been a rash of horrid fakes lately, and the hockey game on TV is quite boring being a glorified AHL game.

Here is an SS camo with a concussion crack in the dome. Its one of the few battle damaged helmets I own. The camo is a green over tan, with the tan layer perhaps underneath from a different campaign as it is completely covered. Notice the camo which shows incredible crazing, patina and age. The decal is a classic ET.

Not sure why but when I post photos from my iPad the resolution is very poor.

My mistake its an M40 camo, the rums are kicking in John....yeah last preseason game before the puck drops for real. I am watching figure skating now I'm that desperate for a hockey fix.

Yeah the color is super on this one. Not masked off but crudely painted around and cleaned off with a cloth of some sort.

Perhaps a mod can kindly change the title from M35 to M40 please thank you!

Nice Lid Doug stopped me in my tracks when I seen it awesome color and patina with a killer worn down ET decal any providence or thought on theater of operations .

Lovely helmet Doug are you sure this wasn't issued for New Guinea? hehehe- the colour is very similar to Aust equipment repainted for the Pacific theater!
