    Default SS Helmet at Auction

A friend sent me an email about an auction next week in North Carolina. Lots of Civil War and Third Reich stuff.
What do you guys think about this helmet? I'm just curious, I have no money for buying right now.

    Thanks,

Looks like a good helmet, but the decal looks like a Pocher made, the helmet itself is a Qwist... Which is a bit strange, or probably field reissue...

Looks like a good one , the decal appears to be a Quist to me.

I think there's one with the same batch nr for sale on another site.

Cheers Phil,i know SS stuff's pricey but i'm surprised they that much. I'll stick to docs & badges i think. Wouldn't mind a HJ knife though. Stewy S

A helmet like that between collectors would be worth between 4500-5000$.
