Thanks everyone who replied. I really appreciate the info on this helmet. As I noted in my first post I do want to sell it and I will post it in the classified section here. I hope someone who is a memeber here will enjoy it as much as I have.

The new owner of this SS relic may be interested to know there are 2 other SS DD M35 ET with this exact same lot number, so there are 3 recorded with this now. As far as relics go this is one of the only "one lookers" there is, so many are in such poor condition and rusted through and cannot be verified visually without great difficulty. Not this one, it would be a great pickup for anyone looking for an SS in relic condition and want to sleep at night knowing it is 100% the real deal.
