Hi Hughes I'm afraid your going to have to post much better photos than this. Include maker.lot number and pics of the entire helmet including the interior. I will say this however, I'm not liking what I see, appears to be decal overtop pitting and the decal is certainly not a 1 looker. Split pin not original to the shell and looks like a repro. I'm guessing yet another humped up relic.

I'm with Doug + the fact that the bottom of the decal is suspiciously missing .... the round bottom fake perhaps?

Hi Hughes, I cannot see a lot from these images but I too do not like what I can see. It certainly appears to be a fake decal with the pitting underneath showing through the decal, as the chaps say, a "pimped up" relic shell. Leon.

I can't see anything. As said, you need close-ups of the decal.

With the poor pics and the seller not being willing to provide better ones I would definitely walk away... there's a lot better SS relic helmets out there, they're not that hard to find. It's far from a "looker", putting it mildly, anyway... looks like it's been stored in a barrel of oil given how greasy and shiny it looks.
