SS Helmet??? Opinions Please

Hi, pics of a helmet I think is maybe an SS helmet. I see there are decal remains on the right side..... and I know that the Eagle and swastika decals are on the left side usually.

Is this a relic SS helmet......and is it worth $50?

Any Helmet is worth $50.
I would say definately SS being the right hand side on an M40 too.Quick answer has already been said.Go for it

Personally I think that its the remains of a Heer decal on the side of the helmet, but at $50 i'd say go for it no matter what the decal is

its worth $50 , it appears to have been overpainted in black paint sometime in its past and then removed, get it bought rgds Dave

Not often that I see a relic SS and have a good feeling about it.
This is a Quist helmet with a Quist SS decal , looks alright

Just ignore this, I really should leave it to the experts instead of my opinion good luck getting the helmet though

OK, thanks everyone. I guess I had a brain fart today, or most probably I did not understand my friend from overseas. I was also reading and translating on my computer translator, the wrong parts of her email. Goofy girls. Goofy me.

The helmet was not offered to me for $50

And yes I agree, any helmet like this is worth $50, and now looking at and others more, I think also an SS helmet.

So scratch my stupid questions in beginning.
