Am I the only person who thinks stripping what I assume was an in situ and untouched since the war liner system from another helmet to put in this one is wrong?

Obviously the SS helmet is the more desirable of the two to most German helmet collectors, but unless the other helmet was messed with or otherwise a bit iffy, how is this different from any other act of vandalism that most of us would complain about? Now you have two messed with helmets instead of one very nice SS sadly missing it's liner and a Luftwaffe that was untouched -or not as that was not made clear.

Maybe I am on my own on this, but it does not seem right unless the Luft had been messed with IMHO.

Lovely helmet, may I ask to see the Q paint colour in better light? just so I can compare it to my Quist ND lot S3426
    Hi Rene,

I purchased a couple of studio lights today. Here is one pic using only one of the lights. Its the closest I can get for now. Still practicing.
