    Hi, sorry, but this is in no way a genuine SS medic helmet. Yes the shell is an original M40, but the paintwork and decal are aged to deceive. Leon.

    It was a good idea you posted photos before wasting your money Sir. Now do remember that if you found this gem on a dealer site. Then you must be aware of more boobytraps hidden under magic markers and aged spraypaint.

    Find yourself another dealer, never visit that dealer again. There is plenty of recommended good guys out there with a almost clean sheet.

    Obviously cleaned relic with an aged decal thrown on, then probably belted up with a length of chain, aged abit more and put on the web to fool the unwary.
