SS reissue?

I am way out of my comfort zone here with this one. Can anyone shed any light on what is original and what is not? Greatly appreciated!!!

i am no pro but i dont like the decals they look to flaked as if someone deliberately wanted it to look worn but again im no expert that is just my opinion at first glance

Even I can see that the SS rune finishes so far above the break as to be laughable.

Carefully remove the decals and you'll have a nice M16.
.... just make sure you pay / paid for what it really is.

Hi, the shell and liner look ok, just remove those fake decals that are placed on top of already worn areas and it will look fine. Leon.

Very good advice guys regarding the shell and liner. The helmet is not mine at this point. I checked out Doug's thread that answered my first question concerning decal authenticity. Thanks for all the help!
