I have a lot Soviet post war and some WW2 items for sale in the Classifieds section. I also have some TR/Soviet helmets and relics for sale.
Hmm, why would you buy it? To me it´s a bit too rusty. Leave it and buy a better one!
Cheers Jan
Yes it's rusty. It's a relic lid... I do not want it but a fellow collector here might be interested if it's original. That being said, i personally like (good condition) battlefield found items more than "mint" condition items. Generally speaking. Would not mind owning a nice WSS lid of course.

I know what you´re talking about, Salty is the way to go
and if you have some dug up pics even better!
Cheers Jan
I am always cautious of any SS lid, relic or otherwise. That one also concerns me.
Looking for:
1) A court mounted EKII
2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.
So am i. Always beware of SS items.

I am not a big fan of this one either. Don't get me wrong, love ground dugs but just not a fan of the decal

Militaria for sale at my Quicksales store in Australia, PM me for the link!
Leave it alone, the decal is bad.![]()
Can't access it, looks to be removed, perhaps a good thing from the posts above.
