SS/RZM helmet or Drp Ang Commercial SS helmet?

I am seeking an answer to what came first, the SS/RZM helmet or, the SS DRP Ang commercial M18? Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers!

I am sure you are quite correct. The consolidation of the SS procurement system first in the RZM and with the rise of the Verwaltungsamt SS was in the course of 1934.
Such also applies for the enlargement of the SS and the rise of its paramilitary units in their variety, also more or less, in the wake of the Roehm Putsch, but also in the months before in the year 1934.
I say this based on decades of study, but especially of a close reading of the RZM circulars in the years 1934/5.

I like the DRP helmets a mixture of a M18 and a gladiator helmet.
