Well the helmet is WW2 German.....and that's where it ends.....post war paint, repro decals and fake name and unit name

Without getting to the points already taken the name on the inside rear skirt of the helmet would be yellowed or even lite tan by now!Its far to new and i won't get on about those decals suffice to say they are bad!You are new to the forum i see and one thing you will learn is most fakers are stupid scumbags and they enhance any helmet with the results you have.Others are more clever and please if you get any messages from a cretin named powel nowak tell him to bug off as he's a total scumbag!!Check with the members before attempting to buy any SS item as much it is junk!Just a caution to you.PS. Nowak goes under many e-mail names and as i stated you will see the members keeping us up to date as to his new names,etc.

Sorry Kolyan, a postwar paint job with reproduction decals and replaced liner. As for the Hotweels book I am sure the SS were not driving those kinds of Volkswagens!
