Thoughts please

This is the best picture I have been forwarded from the seller, helmet has the correct makers name etc on it.
Am I dreaming BUT does this look like the decal has been replaced at some time, and not original to the helmet, especially if you look closely around the edge of the decal.
Have just viewed the decal thread, but cant work out which pattern/design it is, and am still scratching my head.
Someone put me out of my misery please, is it simply too good?

The reason you don't recognise the pattern design of decal etc is unfortunately due to the fact it is rubbish and bears no relation to any original !!

You're right , either the topcoat or the coat of paint below was brush painted.
