I have some doubts about this helmet decal, I'm not sure if it's from the SS because the decal is so damaged.
I hope you'll help me, thanks.

It is an SS decal, but I cannot tell if it is original or not from the photos and it's condition.
Cheers, Ade.
Well, thanks at all
Even with this amount of decal some of the metallic content should be visable what does it look like under a light ?? or even better sunlight.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,

As a relic helmet collector my gut feeling is its an ss decal the ageing seems to be consistent with the overall shell.like any collector they would need to see it in the metal to give a final opinion on its authenticity.
