Everybody thank for the good and wise advice ! since I am quite green when it comes to the german helmets whats good and whats not.

Danmark I'm still a newbe wont do it the next time, and I can't replace this thread somewhere else where it does belong to.

Really? I always thought they were made of steel, yeah strange damage like something has been ripped off that was on it...

If you think about this helmet and the SS there is a small connection between the two.
Maybe that's why it has not been moved by the mods.

Yes your right Dave I was sure of it that the Nazis used this type of helmet with a SSdecal on it. Maybe I wasn't completely wrong.... or am I wrong?
