Good evening, gentlemen!
Maybe You could help me with opinions about these skulls. Original or fakes?
Sorry for the pictures, I don't have better ones..
Thanks a lot

Regiment Nr.17 Braunschweig skull ( picture Nr. 3 ) looks to be fake.
I own these ground dug originals and as I can see the attachment prongs are different.

I believe these are Imperial Era Braunschweiger Hussaren (Brunswick Hussars) and Weimar Era/Freikorps Death's Heads...
Here is one of mine, the photo is dated 1920...
cheers, Glenn
Good evening, Glenn! Thanks again for Your answer.
You are allmost right!
Originally used by the Braunschweig Husaren Regiment 17 in 1807, tradition continued until at least the end of WWII. In WWII was used by Inf. Rgt. 17 and Reit. Rgt. 13. However, Reit. Rgt. 13 was disbanded at the outbreak of war and the respective Schwadron distributed between Aufklärungs-Abteilung 22, 30, 152, 158, 225 and 269.

See my enclosures above.
I am not an expert on these, the issue hinging on a pile of these things said to be found in the maerkischer Sand or not.
Much digging has unfolded in a united Germany since November 1989, and this effort has revealed many things which I do not follow, nor especially comprehend.
I have assembled my collection, more or less, from the booty of US GI's in the years from 1945 until 198X.
