Sure thing, shouldn't be a problem.
Just a side note here...call me a worry wart but I stopped doing the Craigslist thing a few years back after what happened to Mike Pinkus. Not more than a few weeks after that happened I had a guy named "Shawn" email me pics of Japanese swords...problem is the pics were lifted off the internet (quick image diagnosis showed that). He then started spelling his name differently email after email after email (sean, shawne). He was very interested in selling quickly and wanted me to come over to his place to pick up the swords.
Bottom line is that meth heads as well as a handful of disgusting collectors know that people are cruising Craigslist for deals. The disgusting collectors will pedal the fakes..the meth heads will rob...and in Mike Pinkus' case even murder you to get your money and collectibles.
Just some food for thought...
Yes, unfortunately you are right. This will be my first collectible item buy from craigslist though. I will wait until he gets some better pictures back to me on that note.
Insist on meeting at like a McDonald's or something...and unless you have divulged your real full name I would leave it to a first name basis only. Make sure that you are not being set up either...these people work in teams.
I know I sound like a paranoid old woman...but it is a mad world out there on the interwebs!
It indeed looks like the rare zink Deschler but If someone's taking so bad pictures of It as a seller, I don't know. Iam certainly looking forward to better pic's.
I saw this add too, but passed on it due to low quality pics and thus not a good basis for telling if it's real
Well I think that you've misted a very nice opportunity.
