Danziger Totenkopf Original?

Came across this Danziger totenkopf. I am cautious about this one, feels like a lack of detail, I don't like the reverse of nose and looks to be with repaired attachment prongs. I will rather post it here before buying.
And what is this ( I marked it with red ) !?
Would like to hear Your opinions.

There were many models, species, or whatever of the Danziger Hussar badge, how many, I do not know, but the first item here does not look right to me.

I have no idea how many variations of this badge existed, but
I do think that the so called maerkische Sand ones were then the basis for many fakes,
even if the maerkische Sand holds many treasures.
I prefer the women who originate in this storied clime, myself, rather than derelict pieces of metal.

I also think the collector is better served by a steady stream of real items to examine versus the fake and the real, and the fake and the fake
and so on. There are too many images of fakes, and they just gum up the place. We waste too much time with it.
I think I have proven myself disciplined enough to answer questions, but the site should have enough authentic items to
educate the seeker in the proper manner.
